I have been a lifelong Republican and a McCain supporter for many years, but I have to say that John McCain has shown few, if any, signs that he can successfully lead this country. McCain's speeches offers no substantive view of how he plans to lead this country, but instead, he spends most of his time complaining about the Democrats. I don’t need John McCain to tell me what I already know; I need him to tell me what I don’t know. What I don’t know is what he will do that is different from what the Democrats say they will do. What I want is for John McCain to stop constantly complaining and to start acting like a presidential candidate. Tell me John McCain, how you will fix this countries broken government. In voted for Bush in 2000 and again in 2004, but hindsight is 20/20 and I now see that Bush was one of this countries most liberal presidents. McCain looks more and more like George W. Bush every day. McCain’s campaign looks exactly like Bush’s campaign in 2004. One reason for that is Carl Rove’s involvement in the McCain campaign. Rove helped put the worst president in the history of this country into office two times and now he is advising McCain. McCain needs to disassociate himself from Carl Rove while he still has a chance to win this election. Republicans are not as stupid as some Republican leaders think. I, for one, my tired of Rove’s bipartisan style of politics. I want to see McCain show me how he can work with the Democrats to fix this country before it’s too late. If John McCain is going to win this election, it will take much more than his constant complaining about the Democrats. It will take a real plan to fix this country and it will take his communicating that plan to the American people. Republicans, and all Americans, want our broken government fixed now. We are tired of our jobs being outsourced to foreign nations. We are tired of increasing gas prices. And we are tired of out of control government spending. If we don't take action now to bring jobs back, to cut government spending and to develop alternative energy sources, all may be lost. McCain should just concentrate on his future job and stop all the complaints and cut-throat attracts. John McCain should stop listening to Carl Rove and start listening to the American people. |
